Paul Verse of the Day
Romans 1:1 “Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God.” - I recently learned about our big C calling and our little c calling. Our big C calling is to be saved and in relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Our little c callings are to a vocation, ministry, role, or action.

The Paul Verse of the Day Reading Plan
When I read Paul in the Bible I often get lost. He writes in such a circular manner that it sends me off the track frequently. Still, he wrote the majority of the non-gospels New Testament and I can’t just ignore him because I find reading him somewhat challenging.
So, I have started a new practice. I will be reading one verse of Paul a day. I am starting with Romans and going from there. I will post the Paul verse of day here and offer any thoughts if they come to me. I think this will keep me out of the weeds of Paul’s writing and help me focus on what really matters - “Christ in me the hope of glory." Won’t you join me in this practice?
